The Medical Tourism Market Report : 2015 discovered that India was one of the lowest cost and highest quality providers, of all medical tourism destinations. It offers a wide variety of procedures at about one-tenth the cost of similar procedures in the United States of America.

Some of the common health procedures that people undergo on medical tourism trips include cosmetic surgery, fertility, orthopaedic, cardiac, oncology problems, organ transplants and weight loss surgery to name a few.

It is also worth noting that India is rapidly becoming a hub of medical treatment for foreigners.
